Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and his wife, Dr Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu were among the guests last Friday at Onicha Ngwa, Obingwa LGA for the funeral service of the Late Madam Salome Otuonye, mother of Chijindu “CJ” Otuonye, a staff of the Governor.
CJ has worked with the Governor for 20 years.
Other dignitaries at the event, include former Commissioner for Works and former National Assembly Member, Hon Eziuche Ubani, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Barrister Onyebuchi Ememanka as well as Chief Okey Ahiwe among several others.
Late Deaconess Salome Otuonye(nee Ebere) died few months back at the age of 103.
Her funeral rites began with a wake keep on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at late Pastor Lambert Ogbonna Otuonye’s compound, Umuka kindred, Umuogbala village, Nicha Ngwa Amairinano Autonomous Community, Abia State.
Her remains were interred on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 after a funeral service at the Onicha Ngwa Primary School.
